About Us

This ever-growing welsh society started at the Groucho club, Soho, London on November 26th 1995, when Stifyn Parri, entertainer and producer decided to phone 40 welsh friends and invite them for drinks. Apart from being a damn good night out, Stifyn also created a cool and confident platform that no other welsh society had. Its existence has really helped the profile of Wales like no other society has. It is a simple and unique concept that has snowballed into a social scene capturing the attention of many tabloids, broadsheets, radio and television programs.

After inviting Ms Sian Phillips to be the patron, the society has attracted many star names, but Stifyn is eager to express that it is a society for everyone. The only rule is that everyone who wants to join us is interested in being with welsh people. There is no dress code, you don't have to be able to speak welsh, and there is no age limit, no hidden political agenda, and therefore no problem! It is simply an evening where the SWS office hires a sexy venue and our members eagerly fill the room and socialize. Venues have included some of London, Cardiff and New York's coolest private clubs and even the HMS President on the Thames!

We now boast over 5000 members, and more and more people join every day. Don't miss out join now!

All SWS branches including SWS Biz are exclusively run by Mr Producer Ltd. For more information please visit the Mr Producer Web Site.
